Progress new building in Drachten

Spinder is building a brand-new factory with office premises in the industrial area of Azeven Noord in Drachten. The first part of the relocation will take place in the summer of 2019.

The overview shows the milestones of this large project. 

Milestones

• May 2018: excavation of 20,000 m² of land, preparation of the foundations with broken rubble and sand
• 13 July 2018: the first post goes into the ground: see the photos

• September 2018: the steel structure is put in place
• October 2018: erection of the walls
• December 2018: the roof is on!
• March 2019: the interior is close to being finished
• June 2019: we can move in
• Special transport for a special milestone
• Summer 2019: move from Harkema to Zeppelinlaan 3 in Drachten!
